Changelog

What's new in Folio, most recent first.

    • Invoice Shield: invoices are now HMRC-valid by default (sequential numbering, locked once issued), with delivery receipts, automated payment chasers, part-payment support, and — on Pro — a full chase ladder citing your contract and interest owed. Includes data export and retention controls.
    • Contract scanning got a major upgrade: import a brand-supplied contract (PDF or image) and Kit scans it directly, drafts pushback emails for risky clauses, and compares revisions when a brand sends back changes.
    • Generated pitches are now saved — every pitch Kit writes is kept in a "Past pitches" list, so a refresh or a Regenerate no longer loses your work.
    • Rate Calculator rebuilt on a new, versioned engine.
    • Homepage feature cards now link to the actual tool instead of sitting static.
    • Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages, plus self-serve account export and deletion from Settings.
    • Business profiles in Settings, with version history and VAT-aware invoicing.
    • Plans now come with weekly usage limits and multi-currency pricing.
    • Invoices can be resent (with a 24-hour cooldown), and failed email sends now surface properly instead of failing silently.
    • Instagram and LinkedIn links added to the site footer.
    • Kit is now on WhatsApp — link your number and chat with Kit outside the app.
    • Folio is fully responsive across every feature page, phone to desktop.
  1. Launch

    v1 — Folio launched

Folio launched with the full creator business toolkit: rate cards, a public media kit builder, a brand-deal pipeline, UK contract templates with e-signature, and an invoice sender. Kit, Folio's AI assistant — running on Anthropic or OpenAI — shipped alongside it with 11 features including rate analysis, contract red-flag scanning, negotiation drafts, and ASA/FTC disclosure checks. The app shell got a full redesign (the Aurora/Pop system, Kit's side panel and ⌘K command palette), and the marketing site introduced Kit as the product's persona.
